Collection: Hellcatress (MHA)

This is my primary anime OC for fanfictions/insertion drawings for multiple universes such as Naruto and MHA (mostly). She is also an altered version of my other OC, Felicty Lumen, who is a shapeshifter in another universe.

Name: Miyu Nekoshima

Alias: Hellcatress

Age: 22 (Season 1)

Quirk: Feline Frenzy / Healing (Saliva)

From a young age, Miyu aspired to become a hero. She inherited an unusal combination of both her parents' quirks; however, it was primarily her mother's cat-based quirk.

Her mother, Tsume, was a well-known feline hero trademarked as "The Feline Hero: Catress" who also was a priestess to a cat shrine, and her father, Asahi, was a paramedic with an energetic healing quirk that he inherited from his mother, Chiyo Shuzenji (aka "Recovery Girl"). They met while attending U.A. when Asahi was assisting his mother in the nurse's office, and Tsume was a repeat visitor from her training regiments.

Miyu was often babysat by her grandmother while her parents were off working, so she developed a very close relationship as they would watch the news together.

As Miyu attended Junior High school, she became friends with Fuyumi Todoroki through a tutoring session. Miyu was struggling in some subjects with unsatisfactory grades to the point that her coach threatened to kick her off the volleyball team.

As she spent her ten months training to be entered into the Hero program through Class 1A in U.A., Miyu's quirk continued to develop and strengthen. She learned that her saliva had an energetically-influenced healing agent ("licking your wounds," in a sense) when she licked a burn on her arm from training with Toya's fire-quirk. The memory of his incident was burned into her memory, and into the flesh of her side when a burning branch fell on her in the forest.

After graduating from U.A. (she graduated a year before Aizawa started teaching), she worked alongside Thirteen in Search and Rescue. Thirteen had been an intern and sidekick for Tsume in the past, so Miyu had always treated Thirteen like an older sibling.

After an incident involving a child, Miyu took some time away from Hero work to mentally recover and redeem herself to herself. She worked as an assistant to her maternal uncle, Ryo Inui (her mother's younger half-brother), as security to U.A. High. Within a year (age 20), and a request of assistance from Eraserhead, she started utilizing the licensed app on her phone to step back into hero work.

One day, she recieved a notification from Fatgum as a request for assistance on a mission, and she accepted. He was looking for someone that wouldn't be intimidating to interview victims and witnesses. Their mission was to investigate a flurry of missing people involved with the viral drug known as "Trigger."

Hellcatress and Fatgum continued to periodically work together, developing a strong friendship -- so when Miyu received a random location drop on her phone from Fatgum one day, she wasn't surprised. However, when she arrived on the scene, she was immediately attacked by Fatgum, who had been hit with some kind of mind-control quirk. She didn't want to hurt him, so she mainly dodged his attacks through the underground maze of the villian's headquarters until they revealed themself to her. She broke out into a frenzy (her feline quirk is fueled by her rage; the more outraged she is, the more powerful and uncontrollable her frenzy becomes).

She nearly unalives the villian before Fatgum, broken from the siren spell put on him, pulls her off. The Hero Commission puts Miyu on a probation ("It is a Hero's job to assist the arrest of a villian and stop the damage to the public, not attempt to personally end them"). She is mandated to be under supervision by a Pro-Hero until the Commission deemed otherwise; Fatgum volunteers to sign her on as a sidekick and take responsibility for her immediately (he, in his head, owed her his life).

Time passes (age: 21), Miyu and Fatgum work respectively as mutuals despite the paperwork declaring her as his sidekick. She continues volunteering security (and as a translator for her uncle) at U.A. during her off-mission periods. She and Thirteen are living as roommates in an apartment complex near the school, so Miyu transits between there and Esuha City where Fatgum's agency is.

One day, Fatgum calls Miyu in on her off-day to speak with her about a mission: working undercover in Fukuoka for an investigation on the sudden increase of Trigger hotspots in that area. Miyu protests that Fatgum cannot leave Esuha for a long period of time due to the number of villian activity occuring, and Fatgum informs her that he would not be the one leaving. He had worked out a negotiation with the Hero Commission about reinstating Miyu's solitary work as a hero and removing her probation label by utilizing the investigation as a trial run that she had developed more control over herself.

Thus, Miyu was flown out to Fukuoka to work undercover along a young hero named Hawks and his agency.
